All the Tools You Need to Succeed
REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED TOOLS FOR INSTALLATION
– SyncWise GPS Tracker
– Power Cable (included with purchase*)
– Zip ties (included with purchase)
– Adjustable Wrench/Socket Set
– Clippers/Snips
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Locate your vehicle’s/asset’s battery.
2. Remove the negative battery terminal nuts with a pair of pliers or wrench
and retain.
3. Take the power cable (make sure it is not connected to the utility tracker)
and starting with the negative (black) wire
slide the eyelet onto the battery bolt.
4. Repeat this step with the positive (red) wire.
5.Secure the battery terminal nuts and fasten.
6. Connect the power cable to the SyncWise GPS Tracker outlet
and secure with the twist connector.
7. The red light should turn on and start blinking automatically.
8. Secure the device and the power cable with zip-ties
in safe areas where they will be out of the way.
9. Trim the zip-ties as needed.
DEVICE PLACEMENT
– avoid placing the SyncWise GPS Tracker directly on the battery or on anything that may radiate extreme temperatures
– avoid securing the SyncWise GPS Tracker(s) to any piece/object on your asset that could possibly break and then cause greater damage to your asset/vehicle.
CELLULAR CONNECTION
– To quickly confirm a successful install- we recommend installing beacon devices in an area that has strong cell service. Asset must be turned on in an area with cellular service for reporting to begin.
